Speedo Licensing and Tickets

My Captain has a keen sense of aesthetics and once in a while (well, maybe more than once in a while) he feels offended by what he has to see. Several years ago we wrote about Speedos and a speedo license and speedo tickets. We feel that Speedos should be subject to a female licensing committee, and subject to ticketing if found offensive.
This is what my Captain has to say about this based on new observations.....

Obviously, this guy would get a speedo ticket........and absolutely no mercy from the court! Pay-up, and never put the damn thing on again! You are wreaking havoc in the world......women's sense of aesthetics are being damaged!

BUT........and I do mean BUTT............this guy never got the memo. He thinks that a speedo, minus lots of butt coverage is somehow OK!!!! He's obviously not married, but don't you think SOMEONE would tell him that this is seriously LOW-CLASS ..........he thinks that he has assets that should be seen....but really, please, someone ticket him and get him out of our field of vision!!!

But really, this could be the WORST offense of all times. I don't know if it's a man who forgot to put on his shorts, or if he's a PERVERT who wants to copulate with a jet ski in BROAD daylight with a small naked male child on board. You tell me!!! In my world, this would get a ticket and some serious jail time. This guy obviously does not care about what the rest of the world sees and thinks, and I, for one, believe that he needs some serious jail  time to contemplate and understand the seriousness of this foul behavior!!

As you can see, we have nothing better to do than sit and pass judgement on the rest of the world (and take pictures to prove our point)....
But in this case, we know that we are ABSOLUTELY right

NOW.......

EcstaSea is due for some loving, tender care and maintenance now as this is her 5th season in the Mediterranean Seas. And Palma, Mallorca is just the place for quality professionals to do the job right. So we are in and out of Palma as certain repairs are done. The "out" part is going around the island to some of our favorite coves to anchor in the crystal, clear waters and laze the days away.
We recently traveled up the the northernmost point of the island to Cala Engoussaba--an old favorite remote cove from our first year here in 2008.

We had 1 fabulous day and night there and expected many more (as we had checked the weather). But once again we were reminded of the changeability and transient nature of life....very quickly !
The (unforecast) winds picked up the 2nd night and kept us up all night just watching and making sure that our anchor was secure as well as the other 3 boats in the anchorage. At the break of dawn it was clear that this was an unsafe cove to stay in and sadly we picked up the anchor and moved on out to "who knows where". Oddly, the winds and waves were troubled and churning every which way and so we chose to head back down the coast in search of a calm, settled area to rest in.
Unfortunately, halfway down the coast the wind caught our main sail  just right and ripped it in half---WOW!!!! Just means it was time for a new main sail and back to Palma we go. But not until we were able to rest and relax in a new cove for us called "Cala Egos".
Hmmmm, Cala "Ego".... What is that telling us???
What a perfect time and place to check our "egos" and spend some quality time in meditation and reflection. Of course, our minds (egos), want  to  remind us that it "shouldn't" be this way. That we want to "be there and not here". Same old story--just different place and circumstance. And so we were gently and lovingly reminded of the Power of Now and to Be here Now. End of story. Just present and aware and grateful for "what is" right here and now. We get it now, until we don't and forget, but are wonderfully aware that the Universe will lovingly remind us again and again.

It is NOW, always has been and always will be. The timeless NOW is all there is. We are challenged to remain present and aware, living fully NOW,  and EcstaSea is our wonderful teacher, NOW..........
