It is time (definitely) for a new flag !!!
It is time to leave the Mediterranean.
It is time to cross the Atlantic.
It is time for the waters of the Caribbean.
It is time for a change, as it always is, since change is the one sure constant that just "IS"...
Last year on EcstaSea we began to feel a need for change and this summer has confirmed it for us. We love Europe and the Mediterranean Sea-- the culture and people with all of it's diversity, but we have noticed that there is less challenge here for us now. We did have a few new explorations this summer with our trips to Paris and Santiago, but otherwise we find ourselves returning to our same favorite islands. Our overall sense of curiosity, adventure and exploration has waned. And for us, not to be stretched a little is a slow stagnation.
Each breath, every new day and another full moon remind us to begin again, fresh and ready to create again--to grow and expand and stretch beyond our current comfort zone. So we are ready and "it is time" for the new adventure of crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean. It is time for new waters, new islands, new people and cultures.
So after a brief return to our Tucson desert home, we will return to Mallorca and begin again this winter with the crossing to the Caribbean.
Yes, it is definitely time to grow with the endless horizon and expand with the vastness of Yemaya.....
