Wedding Proposal Montage

Here we are still in our desert home here in Tucson as we prepare for our April 18th wedding in Big Sur, California. Love and Life flow sweetly and smoothly as we enjoy the planning of our celebration. Living on Terra Firma

Well, here we are back in Tucson adjusting to life without much movement, living on Terra Firma again.

Why is the bed not moving?
Where is the sound of the waves? (oh yeah, turn on the sound wave machine Willow)
Shouldn't we check the anchor?
Why are we wearing all of these clothes?

Questions and a little confusion as we adjust to re-entry!!!!

Seriously, we are thankful to be back in our beautiful desert home in Tucson. What gorgeous weather here in the winter and we can enjoy the majesty of the Catalina mountains and Richard is enjoying the greens of the golf course.

We left EcstaSea in a safe harbor on the southern coast of Spain in good hands and know she will be waiting for us next summer. We had a safe passage from the islands to the coast and Willow became comfortable with the sailing at night ---soooo peaceful under the multitude of stars and the light of Mother Moon.

We were only back in Tucson a few weeks and took a road trip over to the California coast to begin plans for our wedding there at Big Sur. Traveled back to Tucson on Thanksgiving and are now settling in for a little while as we hope to reconnect with our friends here.

Summers End

We know it's been a long time since you've heard from us, but what is time but only an illusion anyway? After our magical time back at the family reunion and "The Proposal" we rejoined EcstaSea back on the island of Mallorca. We continued to chase the sun, wind and waves as we enjoyed the last of summer swimming freely in our little calas.

We sailed over to the island of Ibiza again and enjoyed exploring the northern and western coasts. Along these coasts we encountered huge (and i really mean huge) jellyfish and much to our surprise we also found Elvis alive and thriving in the little town of Portinix. We enjoyed mingling with the old and young hippies in the city of Ibiza as we meandered thru the old city eating tapas and of course drinking our favorite sangria.

Once again we had a great sail back to Mallorca for our last visit to Palma as we finished some work on EcsatSea. Palma has finally become familiar and we experienced bitter sweet feelings as we sailed away from her again. After a few days totally relishing the sunshine and the fullness of Mother Moon in on of our favorite calas, Espalmador, we have arrived at the little island of Formentara. It is from here tonight that we will sail to the mainland of Spain for the last leg of our journey before returning to Tucson. Our beloved EcstaSea will winter safely in the port of Almerimar on the southern coast of Spain.

Our summer here among the Balearic Islands has been magical, magnificent and full of wonder both within and without........
We continue to grow and expand individually and together as we live in harmony with Yemaya and look forward to our next adventure whatever it may be.

It means that she said "ABSOLUTELY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, so we haven't updated this blog for a very long time but you have to admit that it was worth the wait!!!!
Richard proposed to Willow on August 11th when they were back in Charleston for the family reunion. It was a perfect surprise, with all of the magic and romance one could ever imagine and of course, Willow said "Absolutely"!!!!!

The family reunion (apart from all of the excitement of us) was one of loving play as we enjoyed the connection with each family member.

Now back sailing on and in EcstaSea around the Balearic Islands we are still playing and splashing in the joy of this deepening commitment.
We're probably going to spend the next month sailing around Ibiza enjoying the remote calas (coves) where we can anchor and just "be" as well as entering civilization once in awhile to enjoy the old cities with their great sangria and tapas.
As internet is still iffy for us over here, you'll hear from us when you do...

Full Moon in Mallorca

Ok, going to try this blog "thingie" altho i still don't know what i am doing. Oh well.....
We are still exploring the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera off the coast of Spain and loving every moment of it. Sometimes the adventure feels so fast and free that i am reminded as Osho says to become the "center of the cyclone".

When in port at various towns such as Palma or Ciudedela we enjoy late night dinners and wonderful sangria, as well as the rich history within the old city walls and cathedrals.

But the best is our sailing and discovering the beautiful little calas (coves) all around the islands. We anchor and life becomes sweetly simple as we nakedly play and merge with Yemaya. The water is so crystal clear, you can see the anchor in 30 feet of water. Richard hung my hammock on the deck and swinging with the motion of the waves as we lie and enjoy Jupiter rising in the night sky is awesome.
We anchored off a small island--Isla del Aire and took the dingy to shore and saw millions or rare black lizards that apparently gladly accept tomato pieces from visitors. We didn't do that-- they looked too hungry!!!! Also enjoyed great entertainment from a herd of goats playing on the cliffs all around us. Have also been blessed with dolphins playing alongside the boat as we sailed to Menorca.

Soooo, full moon will find us tomorrow night anchored in a peaceful, private cala to celebrate once again our own light as she reflects it back to us. Life is rich, full and we remain immensely grateful. Where will you be as you celebrate your perfect and complete light???? Let it shine.....

Elvis is ALIVE!!!!

It's been a long time and yet seems so short, (really what is the illusion of time anyway) since you last heard from us. Since the magical time of our engagement we have continued to live in the awe and wonder of life at sea, life with one another, life within and without, life....... After the family reunion we returned to the little port of Soller on the west side of the island of Mallorca. We reunited with EcstaSea and once again began our adventures around the Balearic Islands. Still enjoying the warmth of summer, we returned to some of our favorite calas (coves) and swam and sunned and basked in our time as newly engaged beings, playfully enjoying all that is. We had a nice sail over to the island of Ibiza and harbored for a few days in the little town of Porto Santa Eulalia. Sweet little promenade along the ocean front for nice long evening walks and the best coconut gelato ever!! We began exploring around the island in and out of calas and it was here where we first encountered the biggest jellyfish ever!!!! No kidding, they were everywhere and big brown scary creatures that certainly got our attention and respect. We sailed on up and around the north to another little town called Cala Portinix. And i must tell you a big secret----Elvis really is ALIVE and well living in this little town on Ibiza. Here are the photos to prove it:

Mallorca,Spain

Well, here we are in Palma, Mallorca beginning our awesome adventure on and in "EcstaSea"!!!!!
We wander purposely and aimlessly as we navigate these new waters and remember Tolstoys quote that "all who wander are not lost". That in itself is comforting......

With everything (and i mean everything) new and challenging to us we are allowing and learning the meaning of surrender to "all that is", while creating all that can be and truly loving every moment of it.

We sailed over to the island of Ibiza for full moon on June 18th and sat on the old city wall high above the city with the castle and cathedral as backdrop. Mother Moon in all of her glory rose out of the sea dressed in blue, changing to spectacular orange as if a sunrise. So thankful to once again witness her fullness.

Yemaya rocked us rather fiercely for a few days as we sailed back to Mallorca and rocks us gently now as we leave to explore around the island in search of sweet, gentle coves to laze and swim in.

Soooo thankful for this adventure and for each of you as you share your life with us.
